The Surgeon
Dr. Müge Yalçın
Born in 1987 in Kadıköy, Istanbul, I completed my medical education between 2004 and 2010 at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine’s English Medicine programme. I went on to complete my specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the same faculty, receiving my specialist title in 2016.
During and after my residency, I had the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons in Turkey and abroad, closely observing different surgical approaches. In 2014 and 2015 I developed my practice at NYU Langone Medical Center in the United States, at Dr. Bahman Guyuron’s clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and alongside Prof. Moustapha Hamdi at UZ Brussel in Belgium.
In 2016 I successfully completed both the European and Turkish Plastic Surgery Board examinations. After serving at Bingöl State Hospital, Nevşehir State Hospital and Istanbul Sancaktepe Training and Research Hospital, I left public service to establish my own private practice. Today, my surgical approach is built on accurate evaluation, individualized planning, surgical precision and a commitment to natural results.

One of the things that matters most to me in aesthetic surgery is that any intervention stays in harmony with the patient’s natural appearance. I judge the success of an operation not only by the post-operative image, but by planning that fits the patient’s anatomy, correctly set expectations, and a well-managed recovery process.
Listen First
Every patient’s aesthetic expectations are different. In the first meeting, I focus on understanding you, your expectations, and what matters most to you.
Then Evaluate
I assess the relevant area of the face or body within its own anatomical characteristics.
Then Plan
Following examination and evaluation, we discuss together the surgical options and outcomes that may be appropriate for you.

Throughout my plastic surgery training, I had the opportunity to work in different countries and under different surgical schools of thought. Each of these experiences broadened my perspective and refined my professional approach.
NYU Langone Medical Center — New York
In 2014 and 2015 I had the opportunity to further my professional development at NYU Langone Medical Center in the United States, closely observing diverse patient populations, surgical planning processes and modern plastic surgery practice.
Dr. Bahman Guyuron — Cleveland, Ohio
Working and observing at Prof. Dr. Bahman Guyuron’s clinic in Cleveland, Ohio allowed me to further develop my surgical approach, particularly in facial aesthetics and rhinoplasty. Evaluating diverse facial anatomies and planning results in harmony with overall facial proportion was one of the key takeaways of this experience.
Prof. Moustapha Hamdi — UZ Brussel, Belgium
Alongside Prof. Moustapha Hamdi at UZ Brussel in Belgium, I developed my experience across different areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Observing diverse international surgical approaches further reinforced the importance of individualized planning in my own practice.
